Tommy Hill Blog: “ Over the past few weeks, its been the usual, training hard, some design work in the week, and a fair amount of cycling After croft we headed back to the hotel in Darlington, with a BKS suit bunjy strapped to the roof, to dry out, felt safe and tight so off we went. All fine fine until we hit 60mph on the A1, ”Snap“ the bunjy’s broke and my suit came flying off the back sliding down the A1. I jumped out of the car, with my girlfriend screaming at me, as I was running down the fast lane waving my arms like a windmill. Luckily I got the suit and it survived a 60mph slide down the road. “If you see me on police camera action, it wasn't me”. Anyway we managed to get a brief test in at the new Silverstone GP circuit on the tuesday after croft ahead off the second ”Showdown” round this weekend, with the suit from the A1 incident. It was a typical busy track day, with 80 riders per group, so we decided to do the first main session, and sit out until lunch, well we thought it would be best to anyway, as either me or Yuki run a few people off. I blame Yuki. A bloke slammed his brakes on out side the garage, came storming over to jack pushed his helmet against he’s face and read him the rule book. “Sorry”. At the Weekend I went up to the Triumph day at Mallory to watch my brother back it in into edwina's chicane, battle with chaz davies, until finally trying to stop with he's rear tyre scrapping on the grass causing him to run on at the chicane, finishing 5th in the end, was good to watch though. Sunday I managed to clock up some good mile s on the bike, went out for the day with the girlfriend and enjoyed a lovely flapjack and coffee, then we went of the the garden centre, and decided to buy what we thought was a normal jigsaw puzzle, to sit down relax and do, no!, the picture on the box doesn't match the puzzle, you have to imagine the future of the picture, and basically guess the outcome, so more stressful than driving on the M25. So now I want to just get to silverstone, and hopefully rack up some good points, and focus on Oulton park one of my best circuits.” Cheers

Hi Tommy,
living in East Grinstead and following
your career. I am a fan of yours and sad to see your accident. Really sorry to hear.
I wanted to speak to you on a number of occassions regarding your driving. I may be able to help on the accident-prone situation you have got. a few years back I helped a girl who had a bike accident leaving here with extreme migranes house bound for years. She has no more migranes and is back out. She was exstatic. There is a reason for accidents and I could help. if you are interested you can email me and we can have a chat and I explain. (I don't really do emails like this but couldn't find a contact email address. I am not that good on the IT thingee.
best regards,

johannes
